The Creators Guild of America Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity advancing the educational future of the creator economy. We fund the research, grants, and programs that give working creators a path forward.

What the Foundation does:

Educate

The Foundation produces and convenes the education the creator economy has never had at scale. Industry literacy, contracts, AI and IP fundamentals, mental health, and the path from creator to entrepreneur. Open to creators, brands, and the broader public.

Grant

The Foundation awards grants to creators experiencing financial hardship, scholarships for emerging professionals, and support for aligned 501(c)(3) organizations advancing the creator economy. Real money, directly to the people doing the work.

Recognize

The Foundation administers the CGA Awards, recognizing accredited creator work across categories. Excellence in the creator economy deserves the same institutional recognition that every other creative industry has had for a century.

Research

The Foundation publishes data, reports, and longitudinal research on the state of the creator economy. The work supports policy, journalism, and academic understanding of an industry that has outgrown its own measurement.

Convene

The Foundation hosts the annual Created By Conference and quarterly Live events. Convenings where creators, brands, platforms, and policymakers wrestle with the questions defining the next chapter of work.

Support

Beyond programs and grants, the Foundation invests in the long-term infrastructure of the creator economy. Mental health resources, professional development, and emerging needs as the field evolves.

The Foundation is funded by donations from creators, brands, and institutions who believe the creator economy deserves real institutional support. Contributions to the Creators Guild of America Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. EIN 41-5345101.
