CGA Studio is the Creators Guild of America Foundation’s education on video: free lessons on the creator economy, made to teach, streaming on YouTube. No paywall, no upsell, no course at the end.
Education you can watch.
What Studio Is
Studio is the video arm of the Foundation’s education pillar. The same subjects taught across these pages, what creators are, how the work earns, how the industry functions, produced as watchable lessons. It exists because most of the people this education serves learn on the platforms where they already spend their time.
What We Cover
The catalog follows the profession: the fundamentals of creating, the economics of earning, brand partnerships, contracts, taxes, intellectual property, and the state of the industry itself. The throughline is literacy, giving working and aspiring creators the understanding the industry never handed them.
Made to Teach
Studio is built like education, not like content marketing. Clear subjects, honest depth, and no affiliate incentives shaping the conclusions. The tone is the Foundation’s tone: plain, credible, and respectful of the viewer’s intelligence. If a video cannot teach something real, it does not get made.
Free by Design
Studio is funded by the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, which is why nothing here is for sale. Charitable funding is what allows education at this level to stay free and public, for creators, for brands, and for anyone trying to understand the economy forming around creative work.
Watch and Subscribe
The full catalog streams on YouTube. Watch, subscribe, and put the education to work. For the written companions, start with What is a Creator? and How Creators Make Money.
What Publishes Next
New lessons publish on a continuing basis, and announcements land with the Foundation’s list.
