Creator Grants.

Creator Grants.

The Creators Guild of America Foundation awards grants to creators experiencing financial hardship, and supports aligned 501(c)(3) organizations advancing the creator economy. Real money, directly to the people doing the work. The program is in development now, and this page is where it will live.

Direct financial grants for creators.

Why Grants

Creator income is independent income: no sick leave, no severance, no employer floor when a platform shifts or health fails. One bad quarter can end a viable career, not because the work stopped being good, but because the buffer ran out. Grants exist to hold professionals through the moments the profession does not yet protect.

What the Program Funds

The grant program is built around hardship support for working creators, emergencies, health events, and disruptions beyond a creator’s control, alongside support for aligned 501(c)(3) organizations doing complementary work in the field. The intent is direct impact: money that reaches the person doing the work, with process light enough to matter in real time.

How It Will Work

Criteria, amounts, and application windows will be published on this page when the program opens, in full and in public. A grant program is a trust instrument, and the Foundation intends to run it like one: clear standards, transparent process, and accountability for where the money goes.

Funded by Giving

Grants are funded by donations from creators, brands, and institutions who believe the creator economy deserves real institutional support. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Be Notified

Grant announcements will be made here and to the Foundation’s list. To hear when the program opens, join the list, or reach the Foundation directly at hello@cgafoundation.org.

To apply, email a letter to grants@cgafoundation.org, describing your work and what you are building, the circumstances behind your request, and links where we can review your work. The Foundation reviews submissions on a rolling basis and responds to every applicant.
