Created By is where the creator economy convenes. The Creators Guild of America Foundation hosts the annual Created By Conference and quarterly Live events: rooms where creators, brands, platforms, and policymakers wrestle with the questions defining the next chapter of work.

Where the industry convenes.

Where the industry convenes.

The Conference

The Created By Conference is the Foundation’s annual convening: programming built around the state of the profession, the economics of the industry, and the decisions, in technology, policy, and standards, that will shape both. It is a working event, designed for substance over spectacle.

Created By Live

Between conferences, Created By Live runs quarterly: smaller, focused convenings built around a single theme, a single conversation the industry needs to have. Live events keep the community in the room all year, not just annually.

Who Attends

The room is the point. Creators sit with the brands that fund the work, the platforms that distribute it, and the policymakers writing the rules around it. Most industry events gather one of those groups; Created By exists because the defining questions can only be answered with all four present.

Why Convene

Standards, education, and recognition are built in rooms before they are built in institutions. Convening is how a young industry develops shared language, surfaces its hardest problems, and decides what it owes its professionals. The conversations at Created By feed directly into the Foundation’s education and research.
