Members will receive credit and recognition for their professional work in accordance with the CGA’s Creator Code of Credits. Accredited works will also be eligible for upcoming CGA Awards.

CGA Rider

Legal protections for members are made available by the CGA Rider, a legally binding document that provides fundamental protections for creators across payments, ownership, and AI digestion.

IMDb for Creators

Have your accredited work appear on our website in a searchable database. Leverage our database to find other creators, validate your work experience, and attract new opportunities.

The Shield

The CGA monitors the conduct of brands, agencies, and creators through the Shield program. Members can report any issues creating transparency and accountability in the industry.

Hiring

The CGA encourages brands to hire professional creators. Brands post job opportunities with us, or will contact members directly who list their c.g.a credential online, (eg. Bruce Wayne, c.g.a.)

Attend in person screenings, exclusive events, and webinars. Members can expand their knowledge, network, and overall community, while sharpening their skills on the latest industry trends.

Advocacy

The CGA champions creators’ rights. We work directly with platforms, governments, and brands to protect the rights of digital creators and to unify our collective voice.

10K followers across 3 or less platforms

25K or more monthly active website visits

One (1) verified platform (Excluding X)

Paid activations valued over $15K (1 year or less)

Five (5) confirmed "Created By" Credits

Marketing

Brand, Community, Videographer, Photographer, Editor, Designer

Requirements

Any two (2) are required:

Professional work portfolio

Active W2 employment at agency or in marketing role

25K followers across 5 managed accounts

Paid projects valued over $15K (1 year or less)

Five (5) confirmed "Created By" Credits

Maker

Founder, Co-Founder, Producer, Developer

Requirements

Any two (2) are required:

$500K in venture capital raised from institutional funds

$100K per year in gross revenue (USD)

50K streams, downloads, or installations

Github repo submissions
