Breach

If a brand or agency misses a payment or violates your agreement, contact Creator Support. Our team reviews the situation and determines whether it qualifies for Compliance action.

Outreach

When action is warranted, the CGA contacts the brand or agency directly on your behalf. We issue formal notices and advocate for the terms of your agreement to be honored.

Resolution

We keep you informed at every stage and work toward a fair resolution. If a matter requires legal counsel, we connect you with qualified attorneys who specialize in creator rights.

Frequently asked questions:

1. Who can use Compliance?

Compliance is available exclusively to CGA members in good standing.

2. Does Compliance only cover Rider agreements?

No. Compliance can support any written agreement between a creator and a brand, agency, or platform.

3. What actions does the CGA take on my behalf?

We begin with a formal notice, followed by escalation if needed. This can include cease and desist letters and, if unresolved, a demand for payment or compliance.

4. Does the CGA litigate disputes?

No. The CGA does not litigate, but we can issue formal notices and guide you toward legal counsel if a case requires further action.

5. Will the CGA guarantee a result?

No. While we work to resolve issues effectively, outcomes depend on the cooperation of the other party.

6. What happens if a brand or agency repeatedly violates agreements?

The CGA maintains an internal record of noncompliance. Brands and agencies with repeated violations risk losing their CGA Verification status, which is visible to the entire membership.

7. How long does the process take?

Timelines vary by case, but most formal notices receive responses within 10 to 15 business days.

8. Can compliance replace my attorney?

No. Compliance is not legal representation. If litigation becomes necessary, we will refer you to qualified attorneys familiar with creator rights.
