We sat down with Paige from the CGA and asked her some questions about the creators, what she can bring, and what she's looking forward to.
Why did you join the CGA?
All forms of career creatives have an organization that advocates on their behalf except for creators. CGA fills this gap and is also lead by an amazing group of forward thinking people.
What is it about the creator community and industry that’s gonna make it the future of marketing and brand?
The way people consume entertainment and information has fundamentally changed. Television commercials, paper ads, etc. won’t get the same number of eyes. Digital advertising is oftentimes less expensive, and not only guarantees eyeballs, but is also set up with the technology to ensure that you are reaching the right audience and can track effectiveness.
How can your expertise help the Guild and our members?
Seeing the legal framework behind all types of deals and understanding the implications of copyright law enables me to provide insight into how we can further protect creators.
