Getting the Creators Guild off the ground isn't a one-person job. In fact, it's not even a one-company job. We have needed (and still need) all the help we can get. But we're particularly grateful for the partners who got on board with our mission at the very beginning. And no one was on board earlier than the creator-service platform Beacons.
We're not here to tout the quality of Beacons' products and services—this isn't an ad. But the company deserves credit for being among the first to recognize the value that the CGA could offer the creator community, and backing up that intuition with support and collaboration. They recently opened their Beacons Creator University platform to the Creators Guild, inviting CGA leadership to share their expertise on topics like the recently resolved WGA strike, "How to Avoid Creator Burnout", and "How to Find and Build Community". We consider the Beacons Creators University to be a terrific resource for our members, and one that we look forward to contributing to in the future.
But we're not just fans of Beacons because they're aligned with our education and community goals; we're also fans of the discount they offer to our membership. CGA members receive 30% off of all Beacons subscriptions and apps. Again, this isn't an ad, so we're not going to publish any glowing testimonials. But we're happy and proud to be able to make it a little easier to find out for yourself what Beacons has to offer. They support what we're trying to do, and they've done right by our guild and its members. We owe them our thanks—but your curiosity would be a nice bonus.
